As college/20-somethings, we are searching...

Searching for meaning, searching for purpose, searching for truth.

     The body of Christ has developed their kids ministries and their youth groups in hopes that when students graduate from high school, they will have the foundation necessary to be prepared for their adult future -- physically, mentally, and spiritually. What they often forget is that in the United States today, an 18-year-old graduate from high school is usually not stepping out into the world of adult responsibilities. HE is going to college, finding temporary work, and often living at home. SHE is searching… not for a spouse like she may have been 30 years ago, but for meaning and purpose. HE wants to explore all of his options and do something with his life that matters. SHE wants to answer some questions… Can I make it on my own? What do I really think about God? How do I find “the one” I should marry? The goal of theSHIFT is to provide a forum to answer these questions and provide an opportunity for college and 20 somethings to connect with Christ and with each other here in Cheyenne.
